In 2011, our Pork business enlisted the help of Jimmy Doherty as the face of its new consumer campaign, 'Put Pork on Your Fork', to encourage people to eat more British Pork.
The second phase of the campaign, 'Eat Yourself Happy' was subsequently launched, with the aim of helping people beat the winter blues by using Pork as the key ingredient in a series of nutritious and delicious dishes.
The latest phase, which marked 2012's 'Salt Awareness Week', saw VION's 'best thing in sliced bread' tour take our Lower Salt Bacon out to consumers. The 'Lower Salt' branded bus stopped in three cities - London, Manchester and Leeds - with samples of a lower salt bacon sandwich being handed out to hungry shoppers.
